Could Gagging Sensation In Throat Be Due To Bleach Fumes?
I have a problem with my throat for more than a month? It s more my larynx, but very uncomfortable, always clearing my throat. I cleaned mt kitchen tiles and grout with a grout cleaner and then neat bleach. Could this have caused it and will it repair itself!

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Irritation of throat due to chemical, chemical fumes etc can cause irritation and swelling of throat mucosa.
You can take an anti-histaminic (cetrizine, avil etc) for instant relief from the symptoms.
Avoid contact with irritating substances.
If the symptoms do not wean off in -2 days, you will need to consult an ENT specialist for clinical assessment of throat to rule out any other lesion in the throat.
