Could Hashimoto Hypothyroidism Cause Positive For HPV?
I am a hispanic 40 year old female I am 5"6inches and I weigh 170 pounds. I have hashimoto hypothyroidism, premature ovarian failure and hyperlipidemia, when all these problems started my pap smear also began to show ASCUS, at biopsy i was negative for HPV and Herpes but through the lab they stated that I was positive for HPV, is it possible that the hashimoto is what is invading my cervix and not HPV and is there a specific test for that?
