Could Headaches Be Due To Sinus Infection?

I am suffering with AS since I was nineteen (19) . I am now 49 and during all those years, I have never suffered from/with headaches or sinus pain and sinus infection. Fir the past three years, I started to suffer from these symptoms. I visted TNT specialist and they attributed these conditions to season/year round allergies. But this season(winter/spring) these headaches have become unbearable. Does havig AS contribute to my delimma? Please reply!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to a sinus infection or migraine. To help through the diagnosis, I suggest to do a sinus X-ray and a complete blood count. Meanwhile, I suggest using painkillers such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
