Could Heartburn Be Due To Smoking Weed?

Hi, a friend of mine told me ever since he started smoking pot his eating habits has changed significantly, often times not even feeling hungry at all. It is also hard for him to swallow food all the way down. He tells me that he has heartburn frequently now. Do you think these symptoms correlate to smoking weed?

Wow, that's atypical. We use the active components of marijuana in cancer patients to get them to eat.
Reflux/hiatal hernia are very common and other stimulants of the gi tract (which could be the action of inhaling even without anything there !) do trigger the pain in this case.
Proton Pump inhibitors are very good at treating this.
