Could Heavy, Sweaty Arms Followed By Vomiting Be Due To Vertigo?

Enquiring about my mother. Has been diagnosed by her doctor as having vertigo. She had an episode yesterday whereby her arms felt heavy & broke out in a sweat - generally weak. This evening she has been vomiting small amounts. She is 67 years old. Should I be concerned there is something more going on than vertigo?
