Could Heel Pain Be Due To An Inflammation?

Hello, for some days ago i tried my new football shoes on the court, it worked kind of good that day. But the day after i got hurt, i felt pain in my right-foot heel, and I am just wondering if the pain i something I should have in mind or just rest my foot? Could it be an inflamation in my heel or something?
