Could History Of Hit On Head Cause Short Term Total Memory Loss?

My daughter who is 25 years old has been experiencing short term memory loss and it is getting more frequent for longer periods of time. A couple of years ago she hit her head and has a bulge on her front left temple that is slowly getting larger over the years. Today she was at a theme park and had a breakdown because she got separated and did know where, why and who she was with for a period of time. If she has 2 or 3 drinks the next day her memory is affected. How can this be diagnosed? What kind of specialist should she go to?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, to confirm that the such symptom of short term memory loss is due to past history of head injury it is advisable to get done the CT of brain, but the chances of this because of brain disease is very less, some time this could be due to some functional condition, hope this information helps, take care.
