Could Hollow Feeling In Chest, Skipped Heartbeat And Fatigue Suggest Acid Reflux?

Hi Doc My doc is still investigating but could u please help while I wait? He suspects acid reflux but I fell this hollow feeling in my chest. I also feel tired with little activuty; skipped heartbeat, and right now, the pain comes on when am talking. This evening, I felt nauseous. I have done ECG, Hole and awaiting results from stress test. But the feeling is so uncomfortable Please help Nanayaa

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have hollow feeling in chest, skipped heartbeat and fatigue . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptom are either due to acid reflux or cardiac problem . I would suggest you to eat light and non spicy specially at night , ear small and frequent meals , take a light walk after every meal and take antacid after every meal . If condition still persist then consult cardiologist for proper examination and rule out condition like angina . Doctor may order ECG ( which is already done ) , TMT , complete blood profile and check vitals . Doctor may prescribe isosorbid nitrate , betablockers , aspirin , sedative and frusadmide .
