Could I Be Hiv Positive With A Person S Spit In My Eye?

Hi I m Nau Today I went to a shop and a sales person was telling me the price , he may have spit inside my left eye s right corner while speaking not sure with or without blood .i don t know his status of hiv. If he is poz is there a possibility of transmission Thank you

Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
HIV is not normally transmitted through saliva. Transmission of HIV virus from one individual to other individual is possible when saliva is mixed with blood.
As you are not sure regarding blood in the saliva, chance of getting HIV is very less.

Therotically it is not possible to transmit HIV, HIV virus is very sensitive to oxygen it cannot survive even for a seconds in the atmospheric air.
