I aborted a 4weeks pregnancy with mifekit pills, I took 1 orally the first day and took the 4 orally the next day, I bleeded only every morning for 5 days and the blood stopped flowing. After two weeks I did upt and its negative, is it possible that way? Pls help cos am soo worried and I dont belive is negative, av been having headache and I feel the pain only on my forehead. Thanks
If you have bled after mifekit and UPT is negative most likely it was a complete abortion. The amount of bleeding depends upon the duration of pregnancy. So bleeding is less if pregnancy is of smaller duration.
It is advisable to visit a doctor once about 10-14 days after the procedure to confirm that things are alright. A confirmation about the completeness of the procedure can only be done after an ultrasound to see that no bits are left inside. Also it is advisable to take mifegest kit only under expert medical supervision as complications like bleeding and infection may occur if used in an improper fashion.
