Hello and welcome to HCM,
According to your history, you had periods on Dec 16 and unprotected sex on Dec 23.
In a regular 28 day cycle, ovulation takes place 14 days prior to menstruation.
Thus, on Dec 23, the ovulation day is not near by so less chances of conception.
Sometimes ovulation is associated with cramping pain and mild menstrual flow.
The pain and slight flow that you have experienced could be due to ovulation.
A negative pregnancy test rules out pregnancy anyways.

Thanks and take care
