Could Implant Birth Control Cause Frequent Urination?

Hi, I had a lot of trouble with the implant birth control method including elongated periods for 2 years. For a while I have had to frequently urinate, getting the feeling even when little comes out. I believed it was due to just having a weak bladder but recently I ve realised it had been going on since I had the implant put in. Is this something the implant does, cause frequent urination?

Implants can cause infection and this in turn can cause increase in urination. So it seems to me you are suffering from urinary tract infection.
