Could Inhalation Of Hair Bleach Cause Lightheadedness And Headache?

I was bleaching my friends hair with hair bleach from a beauty supply store. While doing so, my stomach started to hurt and I felt like I was going to puke. I also developed a head ache and felt light headed. Did I breathe in too much of the fumes or could it be something else?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the area that was being used is not well ventilated then excess inhalation of the bleach can cause symptoms such as the ones you are having.

Excess inhalation of bleach can cause different symptoms, they should resolve within 24 to 48 hours unless very severe.

IF they are severe then it would be best to see your doctor for assessment and treatment.

I hope this helps
