Could Intake Of Methylprednisolone And Ceftin Cause Swollen Lump On Neck?

Hi, I have been on Methylprednisolone and Ceftin for a week now for a sinus infection and I have notice a small lump on the back of neck right below my hairline. My neck has become a little tense and I have been experiencing some headaches. Should I be worried about this lump? Is it just a swollen lymph node or a side effect of the medications?? Thanks

Hello,
The medications should not cause this lump. It could be a cyst or a small lymph node. Just watch it and try not to push or squeeze it. If it is enlarging or not going away over the next few weeks then see your doctor again. Warm compresses may help it resolve more quickly
