Could Intake Of Prednisone And Tylenol Cause High Gamma Glutamyl Transferase?

I have been tested for high ensymes in my liver. I see my results on line from the laboratory and it indicates that the gamma glutamyl transferase is high at 46 when it should be between 12-43. I had PMR and was on Prednisone for almost a year and I used to take at least 4x500mg Tylenol extra strength each day along with the Prednisone and now I just take Naproxen as needed. Could the Tylenol and or Prednisone have caused this damage?

dear friend
firstly your GGT is marginally raised not to the level which can be a cause of concern on one report, if found to be raise further again after a few months one may want to find the cause
this marginal raise can be caused by medication you have taken but currently the raise is not enough that i may consider it a cause of concern or be alarmed
I find this answer helpful
