Could Intense Pain On Tongue And Sides Of Mouth Be Due To Braces?
Hi! I got Invisalign braces yesterday and am experiencing intense pain from the braces rubbing on my tongue and sides of my mouth. I know it takes time to adjust, but this pain is intense. I m rinsing with salt water, taking Advil, Aleve, and Tylenol on a regular basis, and I ve filing the sides with an emory board as suggested. Any recommendations? I m about ready to pay twice the price to stop the process. Thanks for your help.
You may use any analgesic or anaesthetic gel for local application in mouth....it will help to adjust you to braces by reducing pain...if it is too sever then oral anaesthetic sprays are also available.
