Could It Be TB If Child Is Having Tiredness, Weightloss, Nightsweats, Nose Bleeds, Joint Pain?

hi Goodmorning. We live in south africa (western province) My adopted son is african and has been tired for the past weeks. He is losing some weight, night sweats, nose bleeds and joint pain. We have been incontact with a active TB person and all the red lights started to flicker in this regard. He was tested negative for Hiv when he was 4mnths old. now looking as the whole family each one has a type of symptom, either sore chest,a cough that lingers. We thought it might just be a flu thats lingering in our family. My son is 10yrs old ( healthy in every other regard) TB??

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion, it is too early to say tuberculosis only on symptoms.
I advice you to consult pediatrician and get done
1. CBC (complete blood count)
2. Chest x ray
3. Ultrasound examination of abdomen.
4. X ray of PNS (para nasal sinuses).
All these is needed to diagnose tuberculosis.
If all are normal then mostly he is having viral fever (flu).
So consult pediatrician and discuss all these.
