Could Knot In Right Wrist Causing Swelling In Wrist Indicate Tendonitis?

Hi, about 7 months ago I was diagnosed with tendonitis in my left wrist with a cyst which is small. Now on my right wrist I have a knot that has moved down from right below my thumb into my wrist the size of a 50 cent piece and my wrist is swollen and warm. Is this also tendonitis? My entire arm is hurting and my thumb and pointer finger tingle and I can t grip anything.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, it can. It sounds like the nerve is also involved so get an NCV done also.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
