Could Lack Of Appetite And Sickness Be Due To Depleting Kidney Condition?

My husband has had bladder and kidney cancer 15 years ago and now has a urostomy and one kidney and his reading today is 19 .He is being taken off a blood thinning tablet as he feels so I ll.He cannot eat, feels sick but has not been sick as suchCould this be the kidney causing these miserable symptoms?
