Could Left Shoulder Pain Indicate A Heart Problem?
Hi I have a pain on top of my left shoulder. It comes and goes. When the pain happens its awful. It feels like someone is pushing on my shoulder and I don't want to move it. I didnt to anything to the harm where I could face injuried it. I am really over weight. Could it be my heart?
The symptoms can be attributed to Musculo-skeletal pain. However, an Electrocardiogram can be done to rule out any Cardiovascular etiology.
Symptomatic relief can be obtained with anti inflammatory preparations like Ibuprofen along with Pantoprazole preparations, ice application & application of analgesic+muscle relaxant gel. Physiotherapy exercises will also be helpful. If symptoms still persist, kindly consult your General Physician for proper clinical examination. Investigation like X ray of the cervical spine & shoulder joint will be helpful in detecting the pathological cause for the symptoms.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
