Could Liquid Discharge With Bad Odor And Bloated Abdomen Be Due To Loop Diathermy?
Hi. Had loop diathermy 15 days ago. Discharge went from clear fluid for a week to slightly smelly, heavier brownish watery discharge for last week. Have had nigy pain either side of womb area, sore lower back and now a swollen stomach. Are these symptoms related to treatment?
I can understand your concern and I appreciate your seeking help in this situation. Some light bleeding from a week to day in normal after loop diathermy. However, some women experience heavy bleeding if their periods are due.
Clear watery odorless discharge for some days is also fine. However, as the discharge is starting to smell bad, you should not wait to visit your gynecologist again as it may indicate start of infection. Your doctor may need to check the area again.
I hope this information helps. Thank you choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you get well soon!
