Hi I can understand your concern... The cause for cirrhosis many... Here it seems to be by chronic drug ingestion... Let me know you permenant treatment for cirrhosis is liver transplantation... Here for cirrhosis take low salt diet to avoid edema .. If edema present diuretic can be given... Your mother might have portal hypertension also for which beta blocker can be given... Take high protein diet.... Take good food for liver like..... /carrot /Indian gooseberry /avocados /spinach /dandelion /grapes, papaiya /lemon juice etc..... If immediate liver transplantation not possible TIPSS like less invasive procedure might helpful ... You can consult gastroenterologist for your mother condition... Take care
