Could Long-term Lactulose Use Cause My Solid Stools To Disintegrate In Water?

Hello doctor pls help I have been on laxative for a long time ( Lactulose) I started to notice that my stool comes out as solid but disintegrates once it hits water. So I went for a stool examination. Here is the result Colour : brownish Consistency: semi soft Blood : absent Mucus : abesent Pus : absent Parasites ( worms/segment): absent Trophozites : absent Ova : absent Cysts: absent Pus cells: occasional/ H.P.F Red cells: 2-5/ H.P.F Epithelial cells: 8-10/ H.P.F Vegetable cells : absent Starch: absent Neutral fat : absent Please what could be wrong?
