Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Could Low Blood Pressure Be Due To Psoriatic Arthritis And Calcification On Kidney?
My blood pressure is constantly low. It s101/62 today. I have dizziness and feel floaty and faint a lot. I have had angiogram with stent in October14, underactive thyroid and on Levothyroxin, just had gallbladder removed 6 weeks ago, calcification on kidney, psoriatic arthritis and blood in urine. Is my health issues causing low blood pressure? Should I be concerned?
Yes, kidneys are effected which can lead to low BP. Once echocardiography is recommended in your case. Take follow up from rheumatologist, nephrologist and cardiologist. Eat healthy more antioxidants like amla, aloe vera, basil, fresh fruits, juices, steamed vegetables, etc. Take few days multivitamins too.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
