Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. In the manner described, it is not possible to conceive. Firstly, the timing of the intercourse happened during the safe period as it was immediately after your menstrual period. Ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next period. Thus, it can vary from day 14-16 for a 28-30 day cycle. Secondly, you had protected intercourse. Cramping may be unrelated. It is true that pre-ejaculate is sufficient to cause conception during the fertile period. This seems to be unlikely in your case. Please wait for your next natural period and get help if you miss it by more than a week. Take care.
