Could Metallic Taste In Mouth With History Of Nasal Drainage Of Greenish Yellow Mucus And Cough Indicate Infection?

I m a 53 yr old female in good health. 5 days ago I started sneezing and had nasal drainage, the next day the drips. When I blew my nose the mucous was clear/white. Day 3-very tired, temp 100.3, mucous is greenish-yellow and I m coughing much more. My upper chest/upper back and ribcage hurt from coughing and blowing. Today when I cough or cough up mucous (not much) I have a very noticeable metallic taste in my mouth. Fever is gone. Could it be an infection? I don t have sinus pressure. Eyes are dry. Have had bronchitis but that was 4 1/2 years ago.
