Could Missed Period Indicate Pregnancy?

My first take micrpil last august 10 2014 and we had sex with my boyfriend last august 16 2014 and I stop taking micropil last august 17 because we broke up and I bleed 20th on august for 5 days and I didnt have menstration on september. Is it pissible that im pregnant? And august 16 is our last sex

Thanks for writing to us.

If you had started taking MICROPIL from D1 or D5 of cycle (Aug 10), then your chance of pregnancy is quite LOW in between Aug 10 to Aug 16.

You also got period like withdrawal bleeding on 20th Aug due to sudden stopping of the pill. It is quite common and natural phenomena.

Late or missed period is due to side effect of the pill and as a result of hormonal imbalance, mental stress, emotional upset etc.

Do one home pregnancy test if you have any doubt regarding pregnancy. Avoid stress, take healthy diet with iron supplements and need sound sleep.
