Could Missed Periods With Little Spotting And HPT Negative Suggest Pregnancy?

hello, i am twenty years old i recently this year in march of 2011 continued to stop my birth control pills. we have been trying to conceieve since then for a total of around seven months and no luck i have a normal. I was put on birth control when i was fourteen to help with my bleeding because it was very heavy. Now that i am off of my pill i seem to get a period everymonth but this monthi missed and was late what i thought i did but then on the 22d onf november i got light spotting which was not even a concern to put a pad on and usually when my period comes i have to wear the over night pads all day due to my heavy flow. i thought maybe i was pregnant so of course i got excited but the excitement became discouragement when it was negative today is the 26th and still no period? the spotting on the 22nd did not even last twelve hours. please help me! i want to know what is the nest descision for me it seems odd that for my age it is taking me this long to conceive

Hello,

Late period with mild spotting may be due to hormonal imbalance, mental stress, over weight, irregular diet habit etc. Ovarian cyst/ PCOD should be ruled out. You need to take cyclic Progesterone pill to regularize your period.

Kindly, consult with Gynecologist for complete prescription. Take healthy diet with FOLIC acid supplements and control body weight.
