Could Missing Periods Be Due To Pregnancy?

i had a sex with my gf few days back.. her last period : 8th may, we had conception (with out- unsafe ) on 28th may. her periods not yet come it delayed. is their chances are their to get pregency. can any body guide as what to do to not get pregency?
