Could Muscle Aches, Fever, Fatigue, Stomach Discomfort, Left Ear Pain And Blurred Vision Indicate An HIV Infection After Unprotected Sex?
Hallo. I had sex with my girlfriend twice. The first time she was not in her periods. The second time she had just finished her periods and when I was whipping fluids from my penis, I saw blood traces. After exactly 13 days from this event I started to develop an ubnormal swelling on the left side of the lymp nodes of neck, armpits and groin. I have a series of muscle aches, fever, fatigue and stomach discomfort. I experience left ear pain and vision blurredness especially when exposed to sunlight. I learnt that my girlfriend is not employed but she engages in sex for money trade. When I look at her face, sometimes it scares me because of the spots and rashes. She has assured me that she is negative but she has never done any test. I am very worried about this. Please I need your assistance if I may have contacted hiv
As your partner is engaging in sex work, we cannot rule out the HIV or STI risk for you. Screening the blood for HIV and STI 4 weeks after the risky exposure and rule out these possibility of any infection is only assurance for you than with word of assurance. Symptoms of HIV can occur only after 4 -6 weeks after the exposure. Consult your nearby physician.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
