Could My Brief Episodes Of 'forgetting To Breathe' While Falling Asleep Be A Side Effect Of Taking Valsartan?

I have been taking Valsartan 80 mg for a couple of weeks now. It seems to be working fine. I get a slight light headedness when standing up after sitting for some time. My only complaint is that while falling asleep I sometimes find myself "forgetting to breath". That is the best way I can describe it. I am not out of breath I just realize that I have not taken a breath as I should have and get that panicky feeling of being out of breath and knowing that it is going to take a full breath cycle before I am caught up. So basically I have a five second panic attack. It is very unpleasant and jolts me wide awake.
