Could My Craving For Slate Pencils Be Due To Low Iron, And How Can I Stop This Habit?

Hi, i am having trouble I can t stop eating slate pencils. I tried too hard but I can t help myself .I am just like an addict but to the slate pencil.. Recommend how to stop eating slate pencils. My blood test reports says that i have low iron content in my blood. Does that makes any sense to my situation.?
