Could My Increased Daytime Anxiety Be A Side Effect Of Taking Gabapentin For Three Weeks?

I have been taking 300 mg of gabapentin for about 3 works to treat a chronic pain in my right testicle. The pain has subsided somewhat but not all that much. However I have begun to feel more anxious and nervous, requiring 1 mg. of lorazepam in the middle of the day. Normally I just take one a day just before I go to bed. Do you think this anxiety can be attributed to the gabapentin?
