Could My Long-term Joint Pain, IBS, And Recurring Symptoms After Prednisone Suggest A Diagnosis Other Than Polymyalgia Rheumatica?

I recently turned 32 and was diagnosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica within the last month. I have been experiencing joint pain for the last four or five years. It began in my lower back and hips, then shoulder pain and foot pain. About two months ago I had an acute episode of sever ankle, elbow, shoulder, and wrist pain. I am hesitant to accept the diagnosis given due to my age and length of time I have been experiencing symptoms. I was put on Prednisone for about 15 days and it did help my symptoms a lot but they came immediately back after I finished tapering. I have also had IBS for as long as I can recall. I am growing frustrated with my pain and the doctor seemingly not listening to the whole picture. I have limited resources because I live in a rural community without adequate access to specialists. I would appreciate any guidance as to if I should accept this diagnosis or if something else would make more sense. For informational reasons I am a 32 year old female.
