Could My Partner S Weakness, Cough, And Fever Be Side Effects Of Macrobid For A UTI?

Hello, my partner is quite poorly, supposedly having an UTI and prescribed Macrobid. He is feeling very week, coughing and having raised temperature. I am very worried especially reading about the very bad side effects of Macrobid. I am trying Manuka honey and cranberry juice too. What else can I do?
