Could My Recent Relief From IBS Symptoms Be Related To Recovering From COVID-19 Or Starting Atenolol For High Blood Pressure?

I have had IBS for about 10 years. Sorbitol and foods with fructains (wheat bread, peaches, onions, ets.) would cause cramping and diarrhea. I have recently noticed feeling much better and I am thankful to God! I have tested eating breads without any negative effect. I have recently recovered from Covid-19 and have been prescribed atenolol for high blood pressure. Would either one of these things have had an effect on relieving me of my ibs symptoms? If so, how? Thank you.
