Could My Son S New Throat Sound Be Related To Puberty Or His Adderall Use?

Hi my son has developed a weird thing where he keep making this weird sound with his throat and said he cant stop doing it. He takes adderall and never had a problem with it but he seems to be going through puberty and Im wondering if the hormones are doing it.
