Could My Toddler Grandson Be Harmed From Eating Food Fried In Oil Contaminated By A Disintegrated Plastic Scraper Handle?

At work there was a scraper found while frying chicken.. the metal part of the scrapper was stuck in a piece of chicken while the plastic handle Disintegrated into the oil.. is it dangerous that my 2yr old grandson ate some food that was fried in the oil??
