Hello,
I have gone through the query and understood your concern. If you are regular with your oral contraception, your cycles are well protected. If you are on a progestogen-only pill, however, your chances of failure are reasonable owing to the presence of ovulation at low doses. Hence, please go ahead with an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres to confirm/exclude pregnancy. If negative, please see a physician to detect general causes for the symptoms. A sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route, helps to know the status of the pelvic organs. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
