Could Neck Pain Be Due To Severe Coughing?

last week I was diagnosed with pneumonia. I continue to cough despite meds. Over this week, my neck has begun to hurt nearly all the time. I have used moist heat and otc meds with some help but it returns. Is it possible to hurt your neck from coughing?
