Could Numb And Tingling Feet With Popping Sound While Walking Indicate Arthritis?

I have a doctor s appointment in the morning. I have taken a blood test at the doctor about 1/2 to 1 year ago about my condition. He said I was alright. If I consume sugar, it inflames the condition, but urinate every normally. I think every 4 or 6 to 8 hours. When I wake up in the morning, I have numbness and tingling in my feet, and it is hard stand up briefly in the morning. I can sit still for why and it will happen as well. I feel and hear a popping sound when I walk for the first minute or so. My hair has been itching at the scalp area, and I get the tiny spots on my scalp that hurt. I put antibacterial on it and they go way after some time. My doctor sometimes ago stated that I may have arthritis, but never provided in-depth information.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Burning or tingling sensation in the feet indicates peripheral nerve disease. Diabetes is one of the most common cause of peripheral neuropathy. I would suggest you to check your blood sugar levels both fasting and post prandial levels. Since you have checked sugar levels a year back, the chances of diabetes is high.

Itching of scalp could be related to sugar levels or may occur due to scalp inflammation caused by dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis. Anti-fungal drugs like Ketoconazole lotion or shampoo can be used twice a day.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
