Could Nut Allergy Be The Reason Behind Sore Throat, Cough And Low Temperature?

Doctor,
My son is nearly 2 and is generally unwell with a temp, cough and a sore throat. Throughout today small spots not raised have been appearin around his body they are almost white in colour. They arrive and go very quickly and are in different places each time. Face, neck, ankles, arms etc. Only medical history is a nut allergy.
Many thanks

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Viral infections can sometimes be associated with a skin rash. It is called viral exanthem.

It would normally resolve when the viral infection improves. Normally the rash has an erythematous (red) appearance.

If this rash continues or worsens, you may want to consult his doctor to confirm that it is only viral exanthem.

I hope this helps
