Could One Get HIV Or An STD From The Oil Used At A Massage Parlor?

Hi
I got extremely anxious after an incident. I went for a body massage . All went all until the masseuse offered a hand job with massage oil. I agreed . And she carried on. There was no vaginal contact or nothing . She just used her hand and used massage oil for lubrication.
At the End of the session I noticed that , she is using massage oil from a cup.. she is basically dipping her fingers in the cup and thn using the oil in my genital area (penis) . I got an anxiety after watching that. My question is :

1. Is it possible that the oil was contaminated by some other customer's semen, hiv or anything ?( as she was dipping her fingers in the oil a few times while giving a hand job)?

2. Is there any chance of getting Hiv this way ?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

This way, HIV risk is low. If contaminated oil is massaged over broken skin or used as lubricant for sexual intercourse then there is a risk. Commonly, HIV is transmitted through the exchange of body fluids (blood, semen or vaginal fluids). When infected persons body fluids come in contact with the blood stream of the partner through cuts, sores or mucous membranes, HIV gets transmitted.

If you consider having been exposed to HIV or STD infection, you can get connected to a GP, get clinically examined and get required tests done. You will be treated with antibiotics / antivirals. If needed you will be given PEP, post exposure prophylaxis. PEP is started within 72 hours of PEP, a 28 day course of medicine is prescribed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
