Could Over Dosage Of Ativan And Zoloft Cause Mental Strain?
My wife has been prescribed a daily combination of 300 mg of zoloft, 6 mg of ativan, and a 100 mg dose of trazodone at night.
This seems like an extremely high dosage of SSRI's. She has had a lot of ups and downs through out the course of the medication. She does not have severe mental illness indicative of the high dosage. We are at a point that she would like to taper off. I knew her for 8 years and she was a great person without medication, the last 2 years of varying doses of medication has lead to, in my opinion, more mental strain and despair. How does she taper off, is this prescription out of line?
