Could Pain And Swelling In Labia After Having Sex Indicate Yeast Infection?

If you had sex and the next day experienced pain and labia swelling, not associated to the sex. was not painful sex. could that be a yeast infection? I treated with over the counter internal medication from walmart 3 days after and it does not seem to have helped

It may be due to rough and dry intercourse also. But infection cannot be ruled out. Herpes can be a possibility as you have pain. Please do visit a gynaecologist for physical examination. Details regarding itching/any dischage/its colour/any rashes and history regarding protection used/not can be of great help for further suggestion. All the best.
