Could Pain In Chest And Headaches Be Due To Stress?

Hi Dr. Samuel, I am a 32 yr old female and I have been having pains in my chest for the last 5 days and have headaches as well. I am under a lot of stress at the moment in work and just wondering could this be the result of this or should I go to my local GP?

I have gone through your query.There is no further information about the chest pain in your query.Please tell me where in the chest you have pain,in the middle,right or left.Whether it is radiating to hands or shoulder or back.How much it lasts?and whether it is relieving by taking any thing?Do you have pain while palpation? For chest pain i advise ECG to rule out a cardiac cause.If there is pain while palpation it is most likely costochondritis.For such cases i advise gel of diclofenac or nimusulide for local application.I also give oral tablets of same for some also.Hope this may help you.
