Could Pain In Chest While Coughing Be Due To Blood Pressure Medication?

Hi, well my mother in American Samoa is having pain to her chest when coughs, she thinks is the blood pressure medication that she is taking. She just recently switched to a new medication, since they don t have the one that she usually takes. Should she switch to another one?

I really appreciate your concern, she is right because ACE inhibitor is such drug that is being used for hypertension but may cause cough symptoms in certain subject, so better to rule out this, hope this information helps, take care.
