Could Pain In Hip Be Due To Misalignment Of Tail Bone?

I had been experiencing pain on the outside of my hip for the last couple of months, I had a doctor tell me my tail bone was out of alignment. So he realigned my tail bone and I can tell a difference, but I can slightly feel the discomfort on the outside of my hip where a nerve was being pinched and I was just wondering if that would eventually go away over time?
