Could Pain In Joints And Plantar Fasciitis In Feet Be Related?

oct. 15, 2014 I developed plantar fasciitis of the left foot and PMR in all of my joints at the same time. I am on prednisone- starting with 40 mg/day dec 1 and now down to 10mg/day. the joints have responded and are pain free. the fasciitis is better but not enough to play tennis. are the 2 conditions related? via inflammation- or individual events. I have talked with others who have had PMR or fasciitis but no one who has had both.
