Could Pain In Lower Belly Be A Sign Of Labour?

Since New Years I was waking up all night with heart burn couldn't sleep. And than all day I wasn't feeling well, later in bed all day sick my mouth had a yukky taste, didn't feel like eatting. Than it kinda went away, than it came back, been having head aches, last 3 nights i haven't been able to sleep propley but I'm really tired. And just today I threw up , haven't been feeling well again, I' just had a bath feel better afterwards now I feel sick again. I ony just had a little pain in my lower belly but now it's gone, my baby is just kicking a lot now but feels abit weird ... Is this any signs of labour ? I'm 39 weeks pregnant, first time pregnant, haven't had many Braxton hicks in weeks either..

Hi, let me answer your question.

1 ) Most of your symptoms can be due to some kind of stomach upset. I will suggest you Cap Pan D Sr once a day for 5 days , 30 minutes before dinner.

2 ) Pain and heaviness in lower abdomen can be due to decent of baby's head in the birth passage.

3 ) As such signs and symptoms of onset of labour process are as follows -
- pain and tightness of uterus which successively inceasrses in frequency and intensity. Pain starts from low back and travels towards inner thigh.
- There is reddish or white sick discharge from vagina.
- if water around the baby breaks , then there is sudden gush of warm fluid through vagina.

If you get any of these synonymous, then Plesse report to your obstetric care unit.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
